For students who first step into an unknown country, they are confronted with multiple unexpected challenges, which， to some extent, may make or break them. So it is essential to be aware of the challenges.
There are two major challenges for those students to study abroad. For one thing, language proficiency would be a stumbling stone on the way to fit into the new environment. It is a basic skill that students should be equipped to meet the demand of study and life overseas. If they cannot communicate with other international students and faculties, their campus life would be in difficulty. For another,safety is an essential factor that would possibly pose challenge to students alone in a strange country. Thus, the awareness of safety should be improved.
