It is universally acknowledged that technology makes our life easier than before, such as the convenient online course. Yet, when people asked “ will online course replace off-line course”, answers may vary from person to person.
On one hand, some people hold the view that online course will replace traditional class, because it is not only money-saving, but also convenient. On the other hand, the rest hold the other side of this picture. Further more, they claim that online course is detrimental to the face-to-face communication between teachers and students. It’s nothing but a waste of our precious time and money.
Accordingly, considering the pros and cons of this argument, I take the attitude that online course will supplement the traditional teaching methods rather than replace it. When it comes to the combination of these two teaching methods, what we must do is “to absorb the essence and neglect the drawbacks”. Only in this way can we obtain the more dimensional knowledge and diverse skills.
